You can buy items from the Little Marley site without registering, however you do have to be registered to sell
How to pay for items
Congratulations! you have secured a great product at a low price. You can pay for items on Little Marley using PayPal – Little Marley’s accepted and safest suggested electronic payment method. Once you have decided to purchase an item, you can pay for your order. Hit the Proceed to Checkout button. Make sure your delivery address is correct, and then select confirm and pay. Once you’ve completed your checkout, you’ll get an email letting you know your payment was received. To speed things up at checkout, become a registered user
Wrong Delivery Address
If the seller hasn’t sent your order yet, you can update your delivery address. If you’ve paid for the item, the seller has to send it to the address listed on the order details page. If the address you provided is incorrect and the item is returned to the seller, you can contact them and ask them to send it to your updated address.
Who pays for return postage?
If there is a problem with the sold item (e.g. item is faulty) the seller is responsible for paying return postage costs. However, if a buyer changes their mind about a purchase and wants to return it, they may be required to pay the postage costs, depending on the sellers returns policy.
Businesses Selling on Little Marley
In general, if you sell on Little Marley as part of a business or professional activity, you must provide consumer guarantees when selling to buyers in Australia. For advice about your specific circumstances, we recommend you contact the ACCC or consult with a legal advisor.
Item you wanted is now gone
If an item you were looking at was removed from Little Marley, it is because it has been purchased. As prices are so low, you have to be quick!
If you have purchased the item and cant find it look for it in the following areas: Purchase History (be sure to check all sections); your Little Marley inbox
Report a seller
Didn’t Receive an Item – If you didn’t receive an item, check the tracking as it may still be in transit, or contact the seller to ask about the status. You can report the item as not received up to 30 days after the estimated delivery date.
If the seller hasn’t responded within three business days or you can’t agree on a resolution, go to your purchase history, find the item and select Ask LittleMarley to assist. We’ll make a decision within two business days. You’ve got 30 days from the date you reported the item to ask us to step in. Item isn’t as described – If the item doesn’t match the listing description, you can contact the seller and try to work things out, or return the item for a refund.
If you paid for the item, the seller must refund the full amount within 10 business days. If you don’t receive the refund on time, log onto your paypal account and request refund. PayPal will assist with the transaction.
Get Selling
To sell on Little Marley, the first thing you need to do is register your Little Marley account (if you don’t have one already) and get it set up for selling. You’ll need to verify your contact information and add paypal account details to pay your seller fees. You can then start selling by following these steps:
Select Sell at the top of the page.
You’ll be guided through our easy step by step instructions to create your listing. After your item sells and you receive payment, send the item promptly.”
Fees for Selling
Sellers are charged a one off 10% commission fee at the end of their item listing on Little Marley.
Register for a new account
To register with Little Marley: a) Go to the registration page b) Enter your name and an email address that you can check immediately c) Create and then retype a password d) Enter the numbers you see in the image e) Read and accept our user agreement and privacy policy 6) Check your email
Requirements for selling
Before you can sell on Little Marley, you have to set up your sellers account. You’ll need to a) Register for a Little Marley account (if you don’t already have one) b) Insert your PayPal account to pay for any future seller fees and buyer refunds. See the How To A Sell page for more information
Updating your personal Information
Select Update Account Information to change your username, password, email address, payment details, your secret questions, and phone number. You can also add, edit, remove your account or contact info
Updating your delivery address
To manage your address, select Edit User Information, and click Address. You can also change your delivery address on the checkout page when you pay for an item. Please be aware that your primary delivery address will be provided to the seller, unless you select an alternative address during checkout
Updating your automatic payment method
Little Marley sellers are required to have an account with PayPal in order to pay selling fees, issue refunds, and cover the costs of any supplemental services you use.
Forgot username or password
If you have forgotten your username, you can sign in using your email address. If you have forgotten your password, select Reset Your Password, and we’ll send you an email with instructions on how to reset it. If you are having trouble signing in, try the following solutions; Make sure you’re entering your username and password correctly and check caps lock on your keyboard is off. Disable your browser’s autocomplete feature as it may be filling in incorrect information. If you are using a mobile device, disable predictive texts.
Closing your account
Oh no, we are sad to see you go. Once you close your account, you can’t use it to buy or sell items. You’ll also lose your purchase and sale history, feedback profile and other account information. If you want to just stop selling, you can deactivate your seller account by removing your automatic payment method and selling tool subscriptions. You’ll still be able to buy items. If you are considering closing your account due to a billing or purchase problem, please contact us so we can help. If you still want to close your account, make sure; All your fees are paid and your account balance is $0.00, you’ve resolved any suspensions or restrictions, your account meets our minimum seller performance standards. Once you close your account, there’s a 60-day waiting period for all purchases and sales to complete. Within this period ,you can also ask us to reopen your account if you change your mind. After 60-days, your account will be closed and can not be reopened. You’ll have to register a new Little Marley account with a different username and email address to buy or sell items.
Account on hold for non payment
If your Little Marley account has been suspended because of unpaid selling fees, you’ll need to pay your outstanding bill in full. Once your payment has been processed, your account can be reinstated
Someone has used your account
Little Marley strongly recommends you do not give your username and passwords to anyone. If you think someone is trying to take over your account or already has, please do the following: Change your password immediately; Ask anyone with access to your account if they made changes to it; Change your secret question; Verify your contact information and payment details; Check your active bids and listings to make sure they’re yours; If you can’t sign in, contact us immediately. If an unauthorised person used your account, we may temporarily suspend it until it’s secure again.
